Checking Outstanding Invitations and Sending Invitation Reminders to Patients and Colleagues

You may invite patients to the 3M Secure Mail so that they can use Secure-Mail to communicate with you (see Checking Outstanding Invitations and Sending Invitation Reminders to Patients and Colleagues - https://support.dentalcloud.3m.com/hc/en-us/articles/206316148-Checking-Outstanding-Invitations-and-Sending-Invitation-Reminders-to-Patients-and-Colleagues). Patients will not be able to send and receive Secure Mail until they accept the invitation.  To accept the invitation, the patient simply needs to click the link in the invitation email & create a free account.

It is possible for you to know which patients have not yet accepted their invitation and to send them a reminder.

To see which patients have not yet accepted their invitation to the 3M Secure Mail by creating their own account:

1. Click on the "Invitations Outstanding"link to view pending patient invitations.

2. Locate the Patient invitation card for the invited patient.

3. To send a reminder email to the patient: Click on the "Actions" dropdown menu and select the "Send Reminder"option.

4. A reminder email will be sent to the recipient.
